My cough is getting worse. I have the sensation that there is pflem in the back of my throat and when I swallow, I feel it. In the morning I wake to expel thick tan color gel pflem.

I do have reflux disease and am taking Nexium 2 X day. I get scoped every 2 years since I was diagnosed in 1993 of Barrett's esophagus. I have never smoked or drank but was around second hand smoke when I was growing up.

I had sinus surgery and was assured by my dr. that the drainage was not coming down from my sinuses.

Chest X-rays and CT scans of my lungs are normal. My lung dr. gave me oxycodone to take since she said some people have luck with that- no help just makes me sick to the stomach.

Does anyone have any ideas?
