3 months ago i changed pills to cilest. i was told to go back after these 3 months to check everything was okay and to put it on repeat prescription. But, 3 days before the end of the last packet I missed a pill and because it was less than 5 days before the end of the packet I should take the next packet as soon as I'd finished that one, without a 7 day break. But, that was the last packet of the 3 months so I didn't have another packet and I tried to get an appointment at the doctors but they were full so I have had no choice but to have the 7 day break.
When I get to the doctors and get the repeat prescription which will be in time for the day after the 7 day break will I need to use a condom when having sex and if so for how long?
also, what is the reason for it saying to take the next packet straight away?
