I have been treated for Chlamydia 4 weeks. I was using some vaginal tablets. I used them all the way but I didn’t have a check up. I couldn’t make it. Anyway, three days ago I found out I was pregnant and now I am worried what can happen if I still have Chlamydia and I am child bearing. Is there anybody who could help me? Thx
Hi there! Don’t worry! You will be checked for all diseases by your gynecologist. so even if you do still have Chlamydia, you will be treated again. In case, you don’t treat it, Chlamydia can cause early labor and delivery and can be passed from mother to baby during birth. Chlamydia can cause an infection of the baby's eyes and pneumonia. Make sure you are healthy before you give birth.
