I suspect you were prescribed a very high dose antibiotic. I am no Dr. but in my experience it sounds like you had an allergenic reaction. Have you been examined again and tested negative? Also, did you have symptoms before or was it a routine test. It is possible you were both allergic and the clamydia was advanced.
