collar bone fracture in babies

Hello. My good friend gave birth few days ago. But, she has a problem with her baby. Namely, at her baby is diagnosed collar bone fracture. Her doctor told her that this injury is pretty common at babies. So, I want to know if this is true or not. I hope you will be able to give me more information about this.

Hello! I can tell you that collar bone fracture is really common at babies (her doctor was right). This injury occur when baby passing through birth canal. I assume that this is happening when baby is bigger one, but I am not completely sure about this claim. I hope that someone else will give you more info about this.
