colon resection had abcesess in incision now have unusual symptoms has anyone experienced this

8 weeks ago had a colon resection due to diverticulitis....2 weeks after surgery developed abcesess that doctor lanced and packed w/gauze that had to be changed everyday.......this lasted 2 weeks then about 2 weeks later developed another infection next to incision along w/swelling and redness warm to touch the swelling has gone up my back around my neck occurs mostly in the evening feels like pins and needles and does pit when touched , no fever , sometimes from the swelling its hard to swallow can't sleep well , my whole body turns mottled looking (reddish /white and pinkish) during the swelling then it goes as quick as it comes. My glands under my arms are also swollen..........has anyone else experienced anything like this.........waiting for blood work to call back, surgeon doesnt seem to take me seriously so went to my primary care doctor. also I do take toprol 100mg daily for high blood pressure/coumadin 10mg daily and tegretol 200mgX3 daily/ my primary care dr just put me on zoloft for the extreme hot flashes that have started since surgery and the depression i am experiencing.........i feel like i'm going crazy thanks for any communication or help
