compulsive overeating-don't know when it started

Hi, I am 27 years old male and I am suffering from compulsive overeating. I have tried several times to reduce my weight with severe diets but there were no results. I feel very frustrated and I don't know what to do any more. Also I can't remember when all these started. Please if someone had similar experience shares it with me.

Hi, my friend also suffering from compulsive overeating for a years. It started when he was a kid as it usually starts. Main problem was that one didnâ€™t realize this as serious disorder and he spent many time visiting nutritionists and trying different diets. This kind of disorder needs professional help where psychiatrist will take care about this problem.
