15 yr old soccer goalkeeper daughter suffered concussion during game in Oct 2006. A close-in shot directly on nose/left cheek. Post concussion headaches persist as of today (March 2007) as well as sensitive sinus/nose, plus some cognitive/reactive impairment has been noted. I have seen return to play guidelines and would like to see her play again, but with 5 months of headaches it seems like this is going to be a long recovery process. Right now I just want her to be pain-free. Any help that could be given regarding the symptoms & return to play prognosis would be appreciated.
