confused about chlamydia

if me and my husband were both virgins when we got married and he even has been tested every year cause military makes it mandatory and he's never had one and when i got pregnant and got tested for the first time i was told i had chlamydia and we both know we didn't cheat on eachother and a couple of weeks or so later he developed symptoms and sure enough i had given it to him. is there any other way i could of possibly gotten it? like thru food or a pool or anything or is it just by having sex?
