confused about when i should ovulate before or after breakthrough bleed????

hi i was just wondering i'm not on the pill. i had my period on the 7th of october 07 and it went for 6 days until the 13th october 07 than 4 days later i started bleeding again on the 18th october 07 and that was my ovulation time and than it stopped on the following monday which was the 22nd october 07. i want to know if i should ovulate after bleeding (breakthrough bleed) again or will i have to wait till next month??? just a little confused
