confusing gasto symptoms

I had a passing "event" of symptoms last month. For a few days, I had cramping in my lower abdomen and then I had muscle pain directly over my stomach. Then the pain culminated with severe pain in my sternum area - as if my ribs were being separated and someone was squeezing my insides. These pains came in waves - lasting about 10 minutes and about 1 - 2 hrs. apart for 3 days. When I had a similar event last year, I was scoped and told my stomach lining was like a 20 year old's. I had an ulcer 12 years ago. I often feel like I have IBS because I bloat after eating cheese, raw veggies or any green veggie for that matter. I do have constipation and have had black stools on occassion. I'm 40, eat relatively good diet, exercise and average weight. Have you ever heard of this litany of symptoms before?????
