connecting through reiki

Can somebody tell me something about reiki meditation? I started meditating few months ago for I want to reach some spiritual goals and it seems is not happening so I wonder if connecting with my inner self is possible through reiki meditation for I have heard I must start with reiki in order to reach these goals? Thanks!

It is said that reiki meditation is one of the most spiritual meditation techniques though all of them are based on the same issues-reaching the highest levels of awereness but anyway I think that you should come to know first how to relax and find your inner self by doing more simpler meditation techniques for it seems you haven't managed to reach these steps and it is in fact pretty much simply if you meditate right. Keep in mind that the most important is breathing so you first concentrate on breathing for connecting through reiki meditation is possible only if you breathe the proper way. And also you have few ways of connecting through reiki such as performing mantra during reiki or imaging some pictures or words and than writing them by your fingers on the air and it is also about imaging some violet light that goes through your fingers and it is actually about chakras through which the connection with your inner self through reiki is possible.
