Hi

My son is 9 years old and has been using conserta for 2 years now. He has been diagnosed with attention disorder aswell as hyperactivity. The problem we struggle with is the fact that he hardly sleeps. By 11pm at night he is still up and about. The next morning you can see that he has been busy in the room. He will also tell me that his body is full of energy. Getting him to relax is difficult, and as soon as you think he is asleep he will jump up telling you he has to go and do something quickly. He has a very busy day which start at 6am in the morning. 7 hours of school and after school activitys. He usually gets home between 5 and 6pm. The other problem is his weight, which is 23kg, 2kg less than his 7 year old brother. Is it due to the medication? Any advise?
