constant burning stomach, cold feeling in chest and throat,

oh my god, its so good to hear that other people are having the same symptoms. I thought i was going mad and the doctors seem to be getting fed up with me going in all the time to see them!

I have a very strange feeling in my chest...and yes, i think it is a cold feeling. I feel so tired all of the time.
I have been getting pains in my chest, in the centre, under my breat area and in my back. And occasional heart pulpatations.
A slight burning in my belly, but this is only recently.

My first sign was a gurgling sensation in my chest about an hour after i ate and a lot of phlegm. When i cough and cough it eventually clears. Has anyone else had this? I have read that this may be GERD?

Doctors have thought it was a chest infection, then asthma and then just anxiety. grrr, so frustrating when i know it is not these things! Confused

I have had blood tests, so i have to wait and see what they come out as.

Would appreciate anyone replying with any of these sensations??

Wow... so many with the same symptoms but no answers. This forum, while nice to gather similar ppl together, is apparently useless for med. advice. It would be nice if anyne that finds a solution would post it, but I highly doubt that will ever happen. Perhaps it might be better in the next world?

i am suffering from the same problem burning stomach and throat ,i have try nexum,prelosec and a lot more but cant seem to get any better , i have done upper GI, and more and i think one day i might just past out because am week i just do no anymore

Hi everyone,
I am a practitioner of exercise science in Australia and i too have the cold feeling in the chest. For all that are wondering , YES it is GERD. People that have this should keep a diary of what they eat and see at what time of the day and when it aggrevates the most. It is nothing to be worried about there is plenty of information out there on the net but if you're still anxious drop us a line at *****

I have just finished a course of medication to treat the H pylori virus. i was gettin terrible abdominal pains since i was about 16 and kept having positive results for glandular fever (mono). After being treated for mono and still feeling ill my new doctor tested me for the H.Pylori among other things. upon discovering it was that virus she put me on the three step medication and i felt fine. but now im feeling really run down again. i have severe asthma and keep coughing A LOT and my kidneys are in torture.

what some of you seem to be experiencing seems to be what i had with the H.Pylori. you are also more susceptible to contracting the virus if you have had any ANTI-SICKNESS tablets or have been on a lot of medications, which will affect the acid in your stomach, inducing the reflux and so making conditions more suitable for H.Pylori.

If anyone can think of why i am still having these symptoms it would be gratfully received!!

Wow man....I had no idea so many people felt the same way i do. I too have been to the doc tons of times with no luck. I feel the anoying cold spot in my chest and throat along with trouble breathing. Quite a few other things as well. I'v never had any problem until a few months ago after i had a tetnis shot. Kinda makes me wonder.

Wow, I'm 20 and I've had very similar things:

Two years ago, I started feeling sick after eating, and was told it was stress related. I've been having odd tasting burps ever since.

A few months ago, I had a lump in my throat that felt like it was swelling and I thought I couldn't breathe; I was taken away by ambulance and told I had a panic attack. They gave me Rinitidine for acid reflux.

Two weeks ago, I had the same lump-and-breathing problem, got bad enough to go to the ER, and they gave my Prevacid. Told me once again it was stress related, and to stay away from acids and fried foods.

Two days ago, I had a sore throat that slowly but surely got numb from my mouth to my chest, with this weird cold feeling taking over, to the point where I could not feel myself breathing or swallowing. I started to feel faint and could not stand up, at that point my mom took me to the ER again.

The doctors so far have seemed to think it was a combo of stress and acid reflux, but its summer, I'm not that stressed, and I'm taking Rinitidine and Prevacid! I can't wait to be referred to a gastro and find out what this is!

okay.
im 16 and my stomach burns really bad...it feels like somethings getting really hot and then it quites like 10 mins after. But this feeling is every know and agian. I pucked 2x's today. the smell of food makes me sick. I feel l light headed all the time. I also burp alot....and i have gas all the time but i dont go to the bathroom. im really worried that i might have that.....should i go to the doctors??
Then my hand is have serve muscle spasims, and it has server pain too.

I am wondering if any of you happen to drink powdered milk?

I have the exact same symptoms as most people list here, and it happened suddenly without warning about a week ago, about fifteen minutes after I woke up and ever since then the symptoms have permeated every minute of my life. I feel like I am diseased.

I had never had POWDERED MILK until two weeks ago I only had it for about two weeks until boom, without warning I developed this problem, perhaps if any of you drink powdered milk or regular milk it has to do with a dairy problem or a tainted milk problem. Also where does everyone live? I live in Southern California.

I do have a history of gerd, so perhaps it is that I have developed an Ulcer

or on the flip side, is it possible any of us have some kind of worm living inside our stomach? like a tape worm?
