Hi I have had constant cold symptoms for 5 weeks and do not seem to be getting any better. I have taken the usual cold/flu medication and whereas the relieve the symptoms for a short period while I was taking them they did not clear the cold which came back as soon as I finished the course. Has anyone got any ideas what I should do

i cut an union up. tape a slice or two to the bottom of each foot (i use hockey tape)

i'm not sure if this only works for fever, but I had a cold/fever (i can never really tell the difference) and my buddy gave me that home remedy and with in a few hours i started feeling better...

the onion is suppose to draw toxins into the feet and ultimately into the union... usually only have to do this once for 5 or 6 hours but a second or third time doesn't hurt.

u'll want to stay seated most of the time and you'll want to tape the union directly to the skin... not over a sock or anything...

This is similar to an old Armenian remedy that has been used in my family. I thought it was pretty gnarly too, but there's something about it that works, sometimes. Actually the trick was to mix some salt in the minced onion mix, if I remember correctly

It turns out that we're not the only ones:
My family wrapped my arm in onions and salt when I fell on it as a kid. Turned out it was broken, so after a day of the onion crap we went to the doctor.
