| I get bad headaches sometimes and it's because my eye sight is poor and I need glasses, but can't afford to get any right now. Have an eye exam, unless you already have. If these headaches aren't caused from that maybe you should see a Dr to make sure it isn't anything serious. Good luck! |

Posted: 01/15/07 - 10:11 Post subject: Chronic Headache and Eye Pain |
| In answer to 'eeee' I have a headache and eye pain which has not left my head for 4 and a half years now. I have had all scans which did not show anything unusual and as I got my eyes lasered recently, I know my eyes at least are ok in terms of vision. Also I get that weird clicking skull thing now and again which I am usually more aware of at sleeping time because everything is so quiet. |

| I have had headaches most of my life, I finally broke down and went to a headache/pain clinic. Not that this would apply to everyone, but my doctor diagnosed me with high blood pressure. I also had a pinched nerve in the back of my head that triggered the headaches. I got steroid shot treatments in the back of my head and they put me on blood pressure medicine, and medicine for chronic pain. |

| Hi. This is in response to the guest who has had eye pain and headaches for 4 and a half years. It was so strange but we appear to have the same symptoms and my head has also suffered the same pain for about the same time. I got my eyes lasered recently also which indicated that my sight was ok but the pain continues to plague me. I also get that skull clicking thing but I was wondering if the only reason I could hear it was because at night everything is so quiet and I am looking for things which could indicate some reason for my pain. I have had the usual CT and MRI scans, blood tests, blood pressure tests but it has all shown to be negative. I ahve seen neurologists, neuro-otpthamologists but it has been unproductive as nothgin is an indication as to what is makeing my suffer from morning to night. |

Posted: 04/12/08 - 17:20 Post subject: Headaches and clicking skull |
| I have suffered headaches for about a decade. Recently they have changed. They are behind my eye, above my ear and around my temple, usually all on the right hand side. The headaches are now more severe and I've been feeling numbness in my face. My osteopath found that the bone which joins my head to my skull was out of place. The joint was swollen and the muscles around it were too. These muscles were pulling on the muscles all down my face. He clicked me back into place and I've been much better since. However, i'm still suffering constant clicking in my skull. It happens every time i move, swallow, chew or yawn. Does anyone know what has caused this or how to fix it? I think the worry is making it worse. |
