constant nausea and loss of appitite - do i have an ulcer?

recently i have been having bad nausea. i don't puke, but i feel like i need to. at first i thought it was food poisoning, but it has been over a week and i haven't been eating alot because it gets worse when i eat. my stool has been black. do i have an ulcer, or what else could be wrong?
