I AM HAVING WHITE TO YELLOW STINGY MUCASY STOOLS ALOT OF GAS. I TAKE PETO TO GET SUBSTANCE AND WHEN I POOP IT SINKS TO THE BOTTOM. IT IS STICKY AND ALMOST SWEET SMELLING. I HAVE HAD A COLONOSCOPY, UPPER GI LOWER GI. THEY SAY I AM HEALTHY. I DON'T FEEL HEALTHY. I DON'T EAT BECAUSE IAM EITHER CRAMPY OR NOT HUNGRY. I HAVE 4 YOUNG CHILDREN. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE AUG.4,07. I AM TIERED. IT GETS ME UP AT LEAST TWICE IN THE NIGHT TO RELEASE MY BOWL. I HAVE NO ENERGY, IF I SNEEZ I CAN POOP MY SELF. IT HAS A INCONTIENCE FEEL. I NEED SOMEONE TO BELIVE ME AND FIX ME. MRS. DESSPERATE.

Have you been tested for Celiac sprue? Your symptoms fit well. The first step towards the diagnosis are blood tests that can provide an indication of Celiac.

You should also ask your doctor for a stool analysis. This can reveal bacterial overgrowth or parasites in the intestine. I presume they checked for Crohn's when they did the colonoscopy, but it is always worth double checking.

In the meantime, try avoiding all milk products to see if that helps. People can develop a lactose intolerance even if they have never had a problem with it before. They can also develop a problem with digesting caesin, the protein in milk.
