constant vaginal bleeding now for 6 months

I'm surprised to know that I am not the only one who goes through the same problem. Since February 2008 I have been bleeding. Maybe a few days in a month, I'll be ok. But for the most part I usually have a pad on daily. Well I did notice one thing, most of the people who are writing are ages 20 to 25. I'm 24 and I have usually been irregular most of my life. I don't know what to think. I don't go to the clinic, because they can never do a pap smear if I'm bleeding. I don't know what to do... If anyone has a cure naturally or what ever, please let me know... Confused

OK I'M 26 NOVEMBER 21 2007 I GAVE BIRTH TO TWIN BOYS. THEY WERE BORN PRE MATURE @ ONLY 32 WEEKS.... I HAD A VERY ROUGH PREGNANCY BED RIDDEN TO THE DR.'S 2-3 TIMES A WEEK HAD TO GET A SHOT 2X A WEEK, BUT WE ALL MADE IT... AFTER THEIR BIRTH I DIDN'T STOP BLEEDING TILL LIKE FEBURARY WHICH ONLY LASTED 2-3 DAYS TOPS I'M STILL BLEEDING NOW I GET A DAY OFF EVERY NOW N THEN BUT I'M REALLY SICK OF THIS!!! I BEEN TO THE DR.'S AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS B/C OF THE BIRTH CONTROL I WAS ON..( WHICH WAS THE SHOT THAT LASTS FOR 3 MONTHS I THINK IT'S CALLED DEPO) ANYWAY SO I STOPPED TAKIN IT IT'S BEEN 6 MONTHS SINCE THEN 9 1/2 TOTAL AND I'M STILL BLEEDING???? WTF THERE'S GOTTA BE SOMETHING TO HELP US!!!! THANKS FOR LISTENING!!![/u][/i]

I have found a solution to my bleeding. I too have experience many of the symptoms listed by many of you. In the past few years my periods have become longer and heavier, typically lasting from 12-13 days. There is also quite a lot of spotting between periods until I had very few days a month with no bleeding at all. This has been going on for about 6 months. I was tested by my gyno for hormone imbalance, STD's, thyroid levels etc.. which all were negative. They did find a small cyst on one ovary that "may be connected but we can not be sure." Frustrated by the lack of knowledge and treatment available through Western medicine I consulted an acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. After one treatment and the taking of several herbal formulas my bleeding stopped. I have been getting treated for two months now and my periods are shorter and less heavy and my spotting has reduced to just 2 or 3 days a month! My acupuncturist says that I should expect a "normal" period within another month or so. I urge all who have been mistreated, misdiagnosed, and misinformed by Western doctors to try a new method. There is a reason that acupuncture has been around for 5,000 years, and herbalism for 1,000ands before that! Everyone's body is different, but I found something that was right for mine and I am so relieved! Good luck to all my sisters.

I had this same problem and my Dr. gave me a D & C and it stopped it immediately. No side effects or anything. it didn't hurt or anything. I didn't have an abortion or a miscarriage just a D&C. It might be worth asking your Dr. about. Good Luck.

i am 17 and i have had a constant period for 2 yrs, like u i have had all the tests and they have all been negative ive had ultrasounds aswelli have been on the implant for 5 months now and that is supposed to stop periods all together but iv done nothing but bleed and its off colour and thick and horrible, i knw what u r all going through and its not nice, i dont feel femanine anymore i feel worn out!!!
