hello! My wife is in the 8th month of pregnancy and she is experiencing continuous spotting with mucus discharge. We are very worried about this as we know that bleeding is usually a bad sign. Should we make a fuss about this or consider it normal for this pregnancy stadium. Thanx in advance

Your wife is probably experiencing what is called bloody show. It happens when a woman is loosing a mucus plug and the spotting is usually pinkish or very light colored mixed in with a mucus discharge. This can also mean that the labor may occur within 24 hours or a couple of days.

Maybe so she's in her 8th month, but i had my baby at 8 and a half months. The doctors often get the dates wrong.
