cortizone 10 safe during pregnancy genital itching

Hello,
I am 3 weeks pregnant and am experiencing genital itching. Before, in such cases I was using cortizone 10 for genital itching. I would like to know if it is safe to use cortizone 10 now, during pregnancy?

Hey there,
Cortizone 10 is in the FDA pregnancy category C. this means it is not know whether cortizone 10 will harm unborn baby. If it is necessary to use cortizone 10 during pregnancy, the smallest amount possible should be applied and for the shortest time necessary and under the supervision of a doctor.
If I were you, I wouldn’t use it, and would definitely consult my doctor. I think there is too big risk.
