I have alot of back trouble and my doctor gave me three cortizone injections in my spine. Now I have little circular areas about 2-3" in diameter around the injection sites that have darkened and look almost like burn scars and they are very painful, feels like scar tissue when I touch it, but then it is brutally painful underneath. The doc says it is cortizone atrophy and will go away with alot of time, but he asked me several questions about my urination habits, etc. Does any one have any idea what I can expect from this now?
