Hi, my son is 15 years old and I have noticed that he is very depressed since I divorced from my wife. I know it was pretty difficult for him but my wife and I tried to make it as less painful for him as possible. I have noticed in last few months that he is going out late and his friends are very strange. I would like to know if depression may lead to delinquency.
Hi, depression in the teenagers may lead to many different behaviors. One of them may be delinquency. Because they are unsatisfied they look for the way to keep attention of other people on their problem. Sometimes they do it trough delinquency. I suggest you to talk to your son and try to solve your problems. If this doesn't help you may try with psychologist.
