i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend 3 weeks ago and now my period is over a week late and that never happens my period is always on time. So i did a home pregnancy test a few days ago but it was negative and my period still hasn't started. Could the test have been wrong might i be pregnant..
There is always a chance of a false negative, so it is a good idea to always retest a few times in the event of a missed period =)
Many women are late for their periods for no known reasons, it just happens sometimes. OUR bodies cycle can change, which is why 'rhythm' method is not so accurate, it is always best to use an effective form of birth cotnrol if you do not want to be pregnant.
