could progesterone be causing all my problems?

Over the last six weeks my hair has become greasy. I have a permanent feeling of being about to start my period (dragging achy abdomen, lower back pain and pain down fronts of legs.

Could this be due to hormonal problems? Gynaecologist thinks it's infection but two lots of antibiotics haven't worked and I am on 600mg of ibuprofen twice a day, plus pessaries.

I bled on day 26 for a few hours and nothing since (now day 32).
