cramping, breast tenderness, but no unprotected sex.

My last period was on January 19. My cycles in the last year have lasted anywhere between 23 and 31 days, but I'm expecting my period to come tomorrow, most likely.

Anyway, that last night, I had a tiny bit of bleeding. It was normal red but mere spotting. I thought perhaps I was getting my period but I wasn't. The next night I had some cramping in the middle of the night, normal period cramps. My breasts are getting tender and sore like they always do for my period. The cramps stopped and were minor. Last night/early this morning, I was getting the more severe cramps that usually mark the first day of my period. I took some ibiprophen and went back to sleep. Woke up, more cramps, took more ibiprophen and later noticed I was having more spotting when I wiped but very light. I also noticed a pinkish-red clot in the toilet (sorry, graphic heh)...but that's it.

I usually don't get spotting, but my periods aren't always the same. It likes to keep surprising me, so I'm not sure what to think. I've never had a condom break (not that we've noticed, at least) or had unprotected sex so I can't see me being pregnant, but this is weird and/or I'm paranoid.

Anyone experience anything like this and NOT be pregnant? Is there any feasible possibility that I am pregnant? Any help would be great, I'm confused.
