I had miscarriage two years ago, when was 28. I thought that was pregnant, did the test and it shown to be negative. But it happened to be ectopic pregnancy that leaded to miscarriage two months after. I thought that would never do urine pregnancy test again. But recently I’ve started having cramping on my left side of my abdomen and as I was due to 4 days ago, thought of possibility that can be pregnant has started crossing my mind. Does this cramping mean something, could I be pregnant?

I’m very sorry about what happened to you. And if I were you, I would not take my chances again. Of course that you should not be a pessimist, but why don’t you visit your gyn? Ask her to do all the exams that can be done; be sure that it is not ectopic again. I mean, cramping may be caused by certain food, can be symptoms of early pregnancy, but also can have nothing with pregnancy at all. It may be common urinary infection, or complicated infection like diverticulitis. Do not think about what it can be, better check it and make sure that everything is ok.
