I wonder if there is important when cum is different color. I wonder if every man has the same color of sperm, or this is individual. I was talking to my friend and we concluded it is not the same color with two of us. Now I am afraid if that could refer to some problem, so I have to ask you here. Can you tell me what it means if cum is different color?

A significant amount of clinically useful information can be obtained if all the reported parameters are carefully considered, such as color of cum. Because potentially significant fluctuations can occur, a single sperm analysis may not be representative of the total clinical status. Hence, at least two analyses are recommended during the course of a work-up, especially if it shows abnormalities. Comprehensive analysis should include an assessment of many semen parameters regarding seminal quality. Recommended technique for sample production is masturbation without lubricants, because most are spermicidal. Interesting is liquefaction that follows ejaculation, where seminal plasma immediately forms a coagulum due to the presence of coagulating factors. This is important parameter, and the normal period for this process is 10-30 minutes. Viscosity is notation of the specimen's viscosity is important since hyperviscosity may impair sperm motility. Important are volume of cum and normal volume ranges between 1 and 5 ml and is a function of the accessory gland activity. Color, which interesting you, should be the same with every man. Normally, semen that contains spermatozoa is a grey to white opalescent fluid. Different colors may indicate a problem, so if you doubt it should be checked by your doctor.

different colors can depend on things you ate, different foods, chemiclas and food dyes
try sticking to a diet avoiding chemicals and colors in foods and drink lots more water and nothing else and see if it straitenes out |

| Please make an appointment to see your doctor. I know it can be embarassing, but it is important. If possible, take a sperm sample with you - it will be easier for the doctor to advise you if he can see what the problem is. Good luck. John |

Guys,
There's a lot of variation between individuals and conditions that contribute to semen color, weight, thickness, etc.
If you're seeing blood in your semen, yes, you need to be seen by a doctor, and soon.
If you are just noticing it is more clear sometimes, more white others, a bit yellow sometimes, that is doubtful.
However, a particularly dark brown, red, or other swing toward a color that you've never observed before COULD be a sign of an infection. In that case, go to a medical facility or doctor's office for an exam. If you can take a sperm sample (or a semen sample, to be correct) make sure that it is fresh... that is, collected within a half hour of your appointment time. Protect it from heat extremes, and be ready to offer it to the nurse upon arrival so they can start checking it.
But the worst thing you can do is start obsessing over the color of your cum, and jacking off more and more frequently in order to compare it.
Relax, guys. |
