Few days ago when I was taking a shower, I have noticed painful bump near my vagina. I am really scared and don't know what to do? What is this bump? Is something dangerous and can it be cured?
I know what you can do, you can go to your doctor to get that bump checked out. This way you will know what is that bump and you will not have to worried about it anymore. It is impossible for me to diagnose you like this. I can not tell you what is that bump and what is the cure for it. Only your doctor can by examining you. Don't ignore it. On either side of the vaginal opening is a pair of glands called the Bartholin or vestibular glands that produce fluid that lubes the vulva's inner lips. Because of its location, this substance can ease penetration. If the opening to either of these glands becomes blocked, a Bartholin cyst can swell and become tender.
