My sister had been complaining about the pain in her armpits. She said that when she grabs it, she can feel a ball which she claims to be a cyst. She said that it hurts her even when she doesn't touch it and she had been getting on and off flu symptoms that makes her nauseated and stomach pain. Can these symptoms be related with what's going on under her armpits. She has no health insurance so she's been to Dupage which claims that it is nothing while another Dr. she went to sent her to Dupage to get surgery because he said it was a cyst. She's not getting any better nor are the doctors helping her with her problem. Can it be symptoms of a cancerous cyst in her underarm..?and are the cyst and swollen lymph nodes correlated?

i have painful balls under my arms. i swear it started after rubbing hard with a pouf oil of olay sent me. it got so bad that i finally showed the dr. he said it was acne inversa and that i should be glad, they can get as huge as baseballs and ooze and can occur in pubic area. one was so bad i saw a dermatologist who injected it with antibiotics. i thought he should of drained it but that's just me:) gave me tetracyline to take which oddly did more for my stomach than arms. they are very deep and close to surface as well. now i use a tiny bit of triple antibiotic cream every time i shower instead of deodorant and it's helped a lot. i have gotten one that came to a head, they never used to. also think massaging often under the arms helps a lot too. good luck and i hope these tips help.

acne inversa it sounds like. my doctor told me to be glad, they can get as large as baseballs and ooze constantly and can be in the pubic area as well. fun guy, huh? i had hard balls near the surface that rarely ever got red but the ones that were deep were soooooo painful and actually drained all my energy. one got so bad i saw a dermatologist who injected it with antibiotics, i thought he should have drained it but that's just the way i am:) gave me oral antibiotics as well. oddly they helped what i thought may have been an ulcer more than my armpits. now i massage, massage, massage under each arm and use a small amount of triple antibiotic cream after i shower it's helping a lot. oh, i don't use or need deodorant anymore. hope this helps.
