Hi, I am mother of 13 years old girl who is suffering from cystic fibrosis. We are fighting for all these years against this disorder and I am willing to do whatever I can to make life of my daughter better. I know that there is no cure for this disorder but I would like to know what life span is for it.

Hi, just several years ago life span for people who are suffering from cystic fibrosis was 18 to 20 years now it is 30 to 40 years. Many things have been improved and many details were discovered about this heavy disease. There are supplements which are replacing pancreas enzymes and many other things. Prognosis is that life span for these people will go over 50 years very soon.
