| I gave birth to my beautiful child a month ago. Thank God, everything is all right with both of us, but the woman next bed to me was not so fortunate. Her baby was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. I heard that it is a very serious illness, so I decided to make some query via internet. Are there successful cystic fibrosis treatments? |

| Actually, there is. It consists of combining medicaments with diet. But, unfortunately, these babies do not have a bright future. Fifty percent lives to see their 20th birthday, 25 percent lives 30 years, and only 9 percent lives longer than that. But, luckily, these figures change often for better, thanks to medical research. |
