dark, dry spots on skin

A few weeks ago I was bathing and i saw some dry dark spots around the outskirts of my underarms. I didnt think anything of it until a few weeks after that i saw the same spots under my breats, on my neck and on my back. I have tried to research different rashes and skin diseaeses without any luck. The spots are migrating to different parts of my body and now kind of starting to peel. If i cannot get a hint of what it is or if it could be harmful i will have to go to the doctor which is what i am trying to avoid.

Did you get rid of yours? I discovered these dry dark spots under my arms, on my breast, my back and my bikini area after a shower about 2 weeks ago. I thought at first it could be ringworm but usually ringworm is a very pronounced circle with raised edges. These spots are not like that; they are flat and almost kinda wrinkly and they itch a little but not as much as ringworm does. I saw my primary doctor who is not a dermatologist and she said it could be ringworm but she wasn't sure. She gave me a prescription for a Chlotrimazole lotion. It provided some relief but it hasn't healed me. My next doctor's visit will be to a dermatologist who I'll ask to do a test so that a specific diagnosis can be made. I'll follow up with my results here.
