After taking birth control pills i ended up with really dark spots on my face and stopped taking them for two years now. Used all kinds of skin bleaching creams but cant get rid of the dark spots. any ideas
How would you describe these spots? Do they look like lesions or like a normal part of your skin that has just changed colour like discoloration?
I experienced the change in color around my eyes and on my chin after being on the pills for about 6 months. I went to a dermatologist and told her about the birth control pills as well and she said that they might be a reason for this skin problem I developed. I went back to a gyno and she took me off the pill and wanted to put me on another one that had less hormones but I refused because in the meantime I have been reading about different problems that women experience while on birth control pills.
Two years sounds too long for them to stay on your face. I lost mine in about 4-5 months.
The doc said thay would go away on its own but I wanted to speed up things a little bit and I used Godiva anti-blemish cream. Have you tried that one?
