darvocet and anaprox for hip pain?

I had a hip injury last month, ever since I am on medications. At first I was on Darvocet. Now my doctor thinks that I must be put on Anaprox. Since I am not an expert, I want to know more about difference between those two drugs. There is a difference isn't it? If someone knows more about this please, write!

Darvocet is combination of two drugs, propoxyphen and acetaminophen. Darvocet is in a group of drugs, called opioid analgesic. It is used to treat mild to moderate pain. On the other hand Anaprox is naproxen sodium (its generic name) and is in a group called none steroidal anti-inflamatory drugs. Also is used as a pain killer. Anaprox can be used for some other conditions; such are inflammation, redness, swelling, etc.
