Anal tags are lumps or flaps of skin that are found around anus.
I had hemorrhoidal tags that got complicated and I developed bigger problems with hemorrhoid then.
Did you have problems with hemorrhoids?
Anal tags can appear after anorectal insult or injury. They can be felt as painless soft protrusions near the opening of the anus. The problem with tags is that fecal debris may become trapped under the tag when wiping in one direction and can cause itching.
If anal tags are symptomatic and cause problems, they can be removed. What did your doctor tell you about these?
