Hi, it seems to me like my son’s classmates are much taller than him. Is he delayed in growing? Or is it perhaps some disorder?

Hi, if it seems to you that the other kids in the class are getting taller, but your child's growth has stopped, it may pass in some time. However, there might be something wrong. Some kids may just grow more slowly, because of genetic reasons. Hormone disbalance, insufficient supply of proteins or calcium and vitamin D, can have impact on growth. Some diseases also effect growth expectations. Girls usually are taller than boys, because they grow until they don’t get period. Boys get taller in high school, and can be among the smallest in primary school.
