Hi i'm 22 yrs old.. my GF was 2 weeks delayed and we both scared of it... i use the withdrawal method to avoid pregnancy but this thing happend.. what is the best way that we can do to check if she's pregnant or not? if she is, what shall we do to avoid pregnancy?
The best way to check is for her to take a home pregnancy test. If she is two weeks late for her period then a result will definately show. If she is pregnant, there is nothing you can do to aviod it as it has already happened. Your options would be to keep the baby, adopt it out or to have a termination. She would be six weeks pregnant now, the abortion pill RU486 is available until 7 weeks. After this time it would have to be a surgical abortion. I suggest she take the test as soon as possible, and if she is pregnant head to a family planning clinic straight away to discuss options. If she is not pregnant, take it as a warning and look at other forms of birth control. Withdrawal method is not really reliable.
