I'm 22 and I still look like I'm turning thirteen. My penis is only about 1 inch long and I only have soft, blond hairs in my legs. My voice has always been fairly deep but now there are people who sound like the man they are becoming. I'm starting to become self-conscious around girls and the like.

Any help would be much appreciated!!!!!

I'm currently 16, 17 in a month or so. My penis is about 6/7 inches when erect. I was wondering what the normal size is for a non erect penis, it doesn't seem much bigger than it did before i hit puberty.

Guys,
If you have NO signs of puberty, you want to go see your family doctor especially if you can't talk with your parents.

There are several things that could cause this.

One boy down our street was perpetually a pest and the classic description of a bully. (See Scott Farkus, from the movie "A Christmas Story" for an almost exact duplicate!) He was taken to the doctor, where they discovered he had undescended testicles. After an operation, he sprouted like a weed...so much so that he was almost unrecognizable. There's more to the story, but it doesn't pertain here.

If you have ANY signs of puberty...hair, voice, sweat glands, genitals... then there is hope for you to continue to develop. At least one of you remarked that you were loosing weight and developing muscles by working out. That's great, and more likely to make your body start to adjust as time goes on.

But there really isn't anything to make you go from zero to mature adult short of seeing a doctor. There is nothing so speed you along either.

Good luck.

I know the feeling. I'm only 14 and have little pubic hair down below. also my little sisters have all got armpit hair and really starting to develop. they are 12 and are a bit taller than me. I am 5ft exactly and People say i look like a 9-10 year old. I just want to live the normal life of an average teenager. with girls and going out places. but I can't because im in a little child's body and i get rejected for that. I am really self conscious and my friends get fed up of me talking about it. i just want to express my feelings

I'm going to be straight up with you guys. I'm 19, and diagnosed with Klinefelter's Syndrome. Where in many countries, like the UK, they test for XXY-47, the United States does not... Unless you get a doctor who does because he wants to. It's not required by law here.

When I was 18, I was diagnosed. At 17, I was at the peak of my physical health. I was a national competitive swimmer. I was very thin in comparison to other swimmers. I could have been better if I were diagnosed earlier in life. If I were put on testosterone treatments earlier, when many boys start to "grow up", then I probably could've done much better. No matter how hard I had worked out and strived to be the best, I was always short because of a genetic fault that no one caught on to until it was far too late.

To the person who posted the first post (mogan?), I strongly suggest you get your kid checked out by the doctors. Request blood work to determine if he's got the extra chromosome or not. In the end, I'm sure he'll thank you. But be aware, I took the news pretty hard, but 99.5% of the men diagnosed with KS is infertile.

I also forgot to add, Mogan, that if you get your kid checked out it will affect his grades positively. I wish I had been diagnosed before my senior year in High School...

They say that KS men's brains develop slower but longer than the average man and probably the women too. Therefore, they are entitled to an IED. Yeah, I really wish I had the "extra time" on my AP Calculus exam...

But now I'm eligible to have it, and I have it now. It helps me out in college a lot.

I strongly suggest going to the doc's to have your kid checked out.

It is not unusual for girls to start their development well before boys do.
The age of puberty in girls is lowering since the 1890s....
The cause is probably better nutrian.

Also, though boys start later, they catch up quick.
That's why girls' seem more mature earlier.
