depo provera effects and weight gain

Hey everyone,

It seems like these blogs are the only place that I can find unbiased reviews on depo provera. I am only 18 years old and had the shot once. I immediately went off of it because I gained ten pounds within two months! I was 103 lbs before taking the shot. Everything that I've read so far tells me that I will gain more now that I'm actually off of it. Although, it seems in most cases that those individuals had been on the shot for several years or more. I also read about other scary side effects that people may have experienced due to taking the shot. I have lost almost seven pounds in the last three weeks. I think because I've been working out and on a 1200 calorie diet. But I don't know what to expect! I'm worried that I will gain it all back or get new symptoms! Does anyone know what I should be prepared for?
