I had the first depo provera shot and my husband and i have decided to have another baby. how long until we can try for a baby?

As you probably already know, Depo Porvera injections are given every three months. If you received only one injection, then you would most likely have a shorter wait before you were able to get pregnant than someone who has been getting the injections on a regular basis. Either way, it often takes a while before your ability to conceive returns to normal. After three months has passed since the date of your injection, your body will continue to rid itself of the Depo and as time goes on, your chances of becoming pregnant will increase. It could take several months, but your body will eventually return to its previous state. The amount of time varies with each person.

i only used it once too in november '08 my period has gotten back to normal and it is now march '08.i haven't been on any birth control.
