my grandma has ovarian acncer. Among many she was lately prescribed with depakote. I surfed the web and found this is actually a drug for migraines and not to prevent ovarian cancer. Why was she given that?

Maybe was prescribed to treat the side effects of ovarian cancer. Migraines can occur as a consequence of ovarian cancer and depokote showed great results in treating migraines.
