My very god friend is depressive because of her looks. She says she has desire to cut her self. I am very worried about her. She is 16. No one seems to pay much attention on her. . I don’t know how to help her.
She is depressed and desire for cutting her self is sign of emotional problem. Talking to someone is an important first step toward getting over this problem. Every community has a mental health clinic where people can obtain care, so go to your school nurse and ask if she can help you make an appointment for your friend. I know a lot of teenagers with same problems. One of my school friends did cut her self. She has terrible scars on her legs from that period.
