Last week I was at my general practitioner. My complains, to him, were about "white fingers". Occasionally, after stress situations, I noticed that my fingers are becoming white and painful. I explained all this to my doctor, and he told me that he is suspecting Raynaud's Phenomenon and that there are some tests to be done. How is diagnosing Raynaud's?
I suppose that there are lot of tests for this disease, but I did some of them. I had suspicion for Raynaud's by my doctor too. So when I was doing tests there were: antinuclear antibody (ANA), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) blood test, nailfold capillaroscopy test and cold stimulation on test. First two are done from the blood, they took from you. The other two require special instruments in order to be done.
