diaper rash first time

I have a 7 mont old son. He has diper rash, and I donæt know what to do. He had antibiotics therapy and my aunt thinks that he has yeast infection. Please tell me what to do to help him. He is my first child and I donæt have any experience.

Hi! I think also that he has yeast infection. Yeast should be suspected in any diaper rash that has not improved dramatically with 72 hours of appropriate therapy. Recent antibiotic use makes a yeast infection more likely. Antibiotics reduces the amount of the skin's 'good' bacteria that fight infection. Try adding a cream such as Lotrimin AF. Washing with warm water may also be helpful. If the rash has not improved within 72 hours of this treatment, you should contact your doctor.
