Hello,

Can somebody help me please?

I had a surgical abortion and I would like to know how soon after the abortion can I start using diaphragm with spermicide as a form of birth control? I only bled a couple of hours after the procedure and had mild cramping and I almost feel fine.

I can not ask my gyno as they scheduled my appointment in 4 weeks time. Rolling Eyes

I already found an answer somewhere else - the gyno said that I should wait 2 weeks. We'll my boyfriend didn't know about the ab and he has very strong sex drive and since I feel fine and I wanted to, we used diaphragm just one week after. So far so good. Smile
