just wondered why i keep geting stomach ache and keep having to go to the toilet, to discover it to be runny and liquid type, no sickness or headaches or anything, just diarreha,

Hello! How long have you had these problems? Diarrhea followed by stomach cramps is usually a sign of bacterial, viral or parasite presence. The organism stays in the body for a few days and disappear together with diarrhea and the cramps.

What it means is that this problem should go away on its own after 10 days the most.
If it doesn’t or if it becomes chronic, then you need to see a doctor to determine what an underlying cause could be. Have you been taking any antibiotics lately? Antibiotics can disturb bacterial balance in your intestines and lead to diarrhea.

There isn’t any mucus or blood in the stool, is there?

What you need to do is make sure you don’t dehydrate. This doesn’t mean you should be drinking way too much water as with too much water you can also irritate your stomach. I think that around 6 glasses of plain water would be fine through out the day.
