diarrhea x3w, uti x1d, chronic cough

My 48 y/o husband had had diarrhea for three weeks with a productive cough. It started out as signs of allergies and led to signs of an upper respiratory infection for 10 days. Had fever, chills and nausea for one day, and the diarrhea stayed. Dr. gave Cipro for five days, the diarrhea eased for two days, and then returned. Now having signs of uti.
