Hi, I am 26 years old female and I am slightly overweighted. I am intending to go on diet but my friend told me it is not good for my kidneys. I don't know if it is true so I would like to know something more about diet's impact on kidneys. Is it dangerous at all or it may be healthy for my kidneys?

Hi, it depends what kind of diet you are planning to try. Every diet which understands lot of water and fruits is very healthy for kidneys. On the other side diets with great intake of proteins are not good fro functioning of your kidneys. If you are planning to go on diet, lower intake of candies, salt and fats will be very good for your kidneys.
