Hi, can I take digestive enzymes artificially and improve my digestion? I have problems with pancreas.

Hi, there are many commercial products available for enabling sufficient supply of digestive enzymes. The foods stays in stomach for about 60 minutes or more as it is digested by the stomach acid and pepsin. Pepsin is responsible for breaking down of proteins, so it is called a protease enzyme. Many dietary supplements contain plant enzymes, which are quite stable in the stomach environment and go to work. Plant enzymes usually break down the food for at least an hour before the food proceeds to the small intestine.
